Hey gang, we're back and pleased to offer our friends on eBay an opportunity to take home our latest estate sale find! We hope you enjoy it! We have up for grabs an old antique Kellogg candle stick phone that (Im assuming) has been converted to a lamp/light at some point and time in its life. I think its in remarkable condition considering its age (and compared to a lot of other antique candle stick phones I see here on eBay) and should be a hit with all you candle stick phone collectors out there. First off, the condition, aesthetically speaking, its very attractive, its obviously been kept/stored well. Other than some dust on it, which there was plenty of LOL, I see no note worthy life threatening cracks or break or repairs, i.e. no glue marks etc and it could only get better as we have not done a thing to enhance its appearance other than dust it off. The chain pull has lost its chain, so at this moment it 'does not work' and is being sold as is, broken/for repair. You could either bypass the chain pull mechanism and install an inline thumb switch on the cord, or repair it, as you see fit. There is a crack in the cord right before it enters the base, easy solution to that problem is just cut that area out and reattach it to the base, or replace it all together. The plug is vintage, again, thats up to you whether or not to use or replace it. If you are in need of additional photos, dont hesitate to ask. Oh, the shade...I have attached a picture or two at the end of my photos showing a simple $2-$3 part that will assist you with mounting a shade to it if thats a direction you want to go. Its a rather simple contraption that you simply slip over the bulb, that hold the shade on. Simple, cheap and effective. That part is not included, and is only shown to put your mind at ease to at least one possibility for mounting a shade over it. I think a beautiful LED "Eddison" bulb by itself alone would look just awesome, with no shade. This is a rare phone, you don't see the polished base come around that often, you see mostly the black bottoms, so as far as phones go to pick from, this is a pretty good one. Hope you can use it!
